Book One in the Hearts in Glenmere Series

Luke Baylis comes back to help the family bakery through the Christmas rush. But he has plans of his own, and Glenmere is not part of them.

Ella Conti, the local schoolteacher, chooses Glenmere for a fresh start. A quiet country town is exactly what she needs.

Only Glenmere has the CWB, a group of stickybeaks with long memories and even longer opinions.

A water tank, a school Christmas concert and an old railway tearoom keep pushing Luke and Ella together.

He came back to leave.
She came to stay.

Neither expected Christmas in Glenmere to change their hearts.
